Device and Data Deletion

Ormur does not require a conventional cloud-content account

Ormur uses device-scoped registrations to connect your phone or tablet to computers you authorise. You can revoke a device yourself or ask us to delete the limited coordination metadata associated with it.

Revoke a device in Ormur

  1. Open You.
  2. Open Access & trusted devices.
  3. Select the device you want to remove, then choose Revoke.

Revocation ends that credential's active access. If the app is unavailable, contact us using the request method below.

Request deletion

Email info@barbarostechnologies.com with the subject Ormur data deletion request. Include only the device label and approximate pairing date needed to locate the registration. Never email a private key, pairing token, password or AI-provider credential.

We may ask for a device-ownership check so that another person cannot delete your registration. We aim to complete a verified request within 30 days, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

What is deleted

Ormur does not store readable terminal sessions, commands, keystrokes or transferred-file contents on its servers, so there is no server-side terminal content to delete. Removing Ormur does not delete files or command history stored locally on your own computer; manage those directly on that computer.

Purchases and support records

App-store transaction records are controlled by the relevant store and may be retained for tax, accounting or fraud-prevention obligations. Support correspondence may also be retained where necessary to resolve a request or meet legal obligations.
